Quintanar, also the scene of the II contest international of Microfiction Museo de la Palabra

In fact this visit falls within the activities prior to the award ceremony of the contest of Microfiction, which will take place tomorrow in the Museum of the word and will be chaired by the President of Castile - La Mancha, María Dolores Cospedal.
The aim of this meeting is, fundamentally, to publicize and promote the most important towns of La Mancha, birthplace of Don Quixote, international link to the Foundation and to the Museo de la Palabra. In this sense the Mayor of Quintanar de la Orden, Carlos Madero, has stated that "we are proud to be part of this initiative and be one of the municipalities in La Mancha;" "this visit us honors because Quintanar is a symbolic, cultural, people that bet for art and that has much to teach," said, making clear allusion to the most interesting places to visit in the municipality, "no stop approaching the famous House of the stone, the roll of Justice and the Church of Santiago de la Espada or multiple chapels with an incalculable artistic value as the Hermitage of Santa Ana"", the Ermitilla or the Hermitage of San Sebastian, among others."
"The municipalities of La Mancha", Madero has continued, "have a great artistic value, much to teach and, moreover, hold with pride the honour of being the birthplace and passage of Don Quijote de La Mancha;" "this visit gives us to learn a little more, so we very warmly thank the presence here of representatives of the Fundación César Egido."
