The winner and the three consolation prizes of the II contest international of Microfiction visit Quintanar de la Orden

The town of Quintanar de la Orden will be stage for the awards of the II contest international of Microfiction Museo de la Palabra, as representatives of the Fundación César Egido, who have visited the Town Hall on Tuesday reported quintanareño.
The quintanareño Mayor, Carlos Madero; accompanied by the councilor of culture, Vicente Rodriguez and other members of the municipal corporation have been happy and delighted to the Foundation, thus making a wink and a gesture of support and complicity to the culture, as reported by the City Council in press release.
This visit falls within the activities prior to the award ceremony of the contest of microfiction, which will take place this Wednesday, May 9, in the Museum of the word and will be chaired by the President of Castile - La Mancha, María Dolores Cospedal.
The aim of this meeting is, fundamentally, to publicize and promote the most important towns of La Mancha, birthplace of Don Quixote, international link to the Foundation and to the Museo de la Palabra.
PROUD OF THE INITIATIVE
In this sense, the Mayor of the order, Carlos Madero, Quintanar said feel proud to be part of this initiative and be one of the municipalities in La Mancha, Spain.
Also pointed out that this visit honors them "Because Quintanar is a symbolic, cultural, people that bet for art and that has a lot to teach", and has made a clear allusion to the most interesting places to visit in the municipality.
"No stop approaching the famous Casa de Piedra, the roll of Justice, to the Church of Santiago de la Espada or multiple chapels with a priceless artistic as the Hermitage of Santa Ana, the Ermitilla or the Hermitage of San Sebastián, among others", he has indicated.
Finally, she stated that the municipalities of La Mancha are of great artistic value, much to teach and, in addition, "boast with pride the honour of being the birthplace and step of Don Quijote de La Mancha".
